Mb's Treasurista Sneak Peak Sunday


Hi everyone welcome to Sneak Peak Sunday for August by Mb's Treasurista.  What I made this month is a special birthday card for a little 1 yr old.  It's very simple but I incorporated some new MB's products and they are:  

Red Raffia trim
White paper flowers
Clear acrylic tulip flowers
Red flat back pearl bead center in the flower
Pink chinese braided trim

 This is a recipe card holder and gift box that I made for a friend.  It has a window below that you can see the cards through, and it also fits menus and small cookbooks such as the simple editions Pampered Chef cookbooks.

I used a great deal of products from MB's Treasurista for this project so I'll hold you up no further and let you know about the products I used:

                         Pearl trim on the butterfly's antennae

Mixed-media tag swap with BONA at LiveLoveScrap

I am in a swap hosted by Bona at LiveLoveScrap for a mixed media project.  What I created was a Hot Air Balloon ride collage mixed art tag in 3-d.  I had so much fun creating this and I hope the other girls like it as well.

Greeting Farm & Saturated Canary cards

I was on a kick of making cards and so here are a few that I was working on.  I love these images and frankly it's just so much fun, that feeling like a kid again sitting and coloring with my copics.  Love these images!






 

IARCC Back to school challenge

My submission for the Iam Roses back to school challenge is a pencil case for back to school.  I created it from a box that came with an item in it, I removed the item and decided to upcycle the box.  The Iamroses flowers I used in this project were the cherry blossoms.  Here it is:

MBT Creative Contest for August

SUMMER DIY WREATH

Was a rainy summer day today and so I felt as if I got nothing accomplished but I was cleaning my upstairs kitchen and realized that I had a whole box of  these little umbrellas leftover from my daughters Hawaiian luau party,  Then I realized I saw something on pinterest one time and so the search began and what I remembered was this......so I have a new wreath for my door for summer!
