Every year I make a Christmas layout for my mom to put in a frame. I
use my daughters photo from school so she can see her grow & become
more and more beautiful as the years go by. I did put a mat over my
daughters photo but you can tell I made the layout really simple but yet
elegant and simply stated.
The few material I used were:
French Country Graphic 45 paper from The Rubber Buggy.
Prima Mulberry flower
Websters pages stick pin
White doily
Recollections bling
Red velvet scalloped ribbon
Have a very Happy New Year and best wishes to all!

Merry Christmas with The Rubber Buggy design team
Hi friends, well it's getting down to the wire and I am quickly
finding ways to make really easy cards for christmas. I used an MFT die
from the Rubber Buggy and it came out so pretty. I used the fence die
and decorated it with laces and pearls. I added a christmas tree and
some stickled and painted snow to brighten it up a bit ; so here is what
the end result is. So fun and done in under 30 minutes. You can find
the fence die from MFT over at The Rubber Buggy as
well as the paper line from G45 called French Country and try making
this one for yourself. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas only 2
weeks from today till Santa comes I hope you are all ready!
Thanks for looking ~Kelly

Elf on the shelf poopy goofy pranks
Elf poop is the equivalent of a peppermint candy and here was what our Elf Lila left us in my daughters American Girl house "pretend" toilet.
She's a stinker! No pun intended! LOL!

Really?....Chia Dynasty....what next?
So my hubby has attained victory in the struggle of getting my daughter hooked on his favorite show Duck Dynasty. It's not that I don't appreciate the values they have to offer, I just never really got the whole fad of the thing but to each his own. I haven't kissed my husbands face in days because he is "growing his own beard". Great go for it, but you wont' see me kissing that prickly, pointy, hairy, painful mass of threadlike strands growing from his all too once familiar face, lol!
Now I was looking online at some merchandise for him for Christmas and being the kind loving wife that I am, I thought I would also jump into the world of commercialism and buy him some DD merchandise for his obsession. I stumbled up on this. Chia Duck Dynasty. I would say something but I think it speaks for itself, and for that I have no words but WHAT NEXT?

Please don't ask me where you can get one, I only saved the picture and have no idea. I would recommend just googling Chia Duck Dynasty I'm sure you will find it eventually, and if not good luck with your journey. All I was looking for was a t shirt.

used the paper stack called French Country sold at The Rubber Buggy.

Movie review.....Disney FROZEN & Elf on a shelf prank
This movie was a lot like what I thought Tangled was like. It had the conflict: Misunderstood downfalls and resolution: find/search inner peace. I think it was geared more towards the female persuasion, but yet there were quite a few boys in the theater when we were there so depends on your little boys preferences. If they like Disney movies with girls the whole princess saved by prince type of movie then this is the movie for them, but if they are more tough & rugged, like the dark side of theater boys this is not really for them. Although there were a few fight scenes, pleasantly to me it had a more feminine softer touch to it, but I give it a thumbs up! Excellent, will be buying this when it comes out on DVD.
In other stories our elf was at it again. We did finally get our tree up but didnt' have time for ornaments and figured we'd wait till another night to do that. Lila the elf had other things in mind, her she is toilet papering our tree. Great now what do we wipe with? Ornaments?

American Girl of the Year 2014 is.................Isabelle
I've done a little research; I usually do this time of year and sure enough I found the New Girl of the Year for American Girl on another blog called dolldiaries.com. The 2014 girl of the year seems to be a ballerina with blonde hair and possibly green eyes and her name is Isabelle.
Not sure how I feel about this, I'm always excited for the new dolls but I feel the blonde girl with sporty style has been a bit redundant in the past 5 - 10 years or so. Not enough ethnic dolls are being portrayed as far as I am concerned. American Girl says they are not the most popular dolls when it comes to regular sales but these are the dolls of the year they are not normal regular sales dolls.
Anyway, I wanted to share with any viewers out there if you are searching so here she is. Again pictures copies from dolldiaries.com. Not my own pics. ~Kelly

Lila Boggins Elf on the Shelf is back.....2013
Our little Lila friend is back and this time she brings gifts. Molly's advent lego calendar was a special treat this year because her little Elf friend, Lila was there ready for her to open her first day's # 1 box. She says this year she's going to cause more trouble so who knows, you will have to keep up with our blog to see these shenanigans she may be creating in our house. Oh no, hold on tight; this momma is worried for the chaos this elfie girlie is about to create.

Chef Tilda Friends DT project for The Rubber Buggy
I'm very thankful for my friends this holiday season and so that is
why I decided to do a Friends card for Thanksgiving. This image is from
the Yummy in the Tummy collection and she is Chef Tilda from The Rubber Buggy store. .
I colored her with my copics, the background paper is Prima from a
retired line. I added a scallop in red and a little ribbon and flower
on top. The friends title is from the DCWV paper collection called Wild
Splendour. I used the same paper line to create little covers for
these treats that I am giving out at Thanksgiving. So here is my card I
hope that you like it and I wish you all a very blessed Thanksgiving.

Peacock ornament series #2
This was made from an old tin lid. I cut 2 circles out of paper and adhered to the lid. Then I added lace around the inside and for the strap I thread wire around the beads to dangle; then added my leaves and flowers. On the back I added a few little stamps and a large glittered leaf to accent. Super easy, fun and beautiful ornament for my peacock series of christmas ornaments. This is probably the most fun I have had crafting in a long time just making these ornaments. It may become habit forming. LOL! Have a great day! ~Kelly

Peacock christmas ornament series & giveaway
I am getting an early start to the holidays this year; and this year the color is peacock. I have always gazed and gawked at peacock trees and ornaments in wonder knowing how much I would love to do one; but that I did not have the urge to replace all the other beautiful ornaments in my collection as I collect Old World ornaments. Buying another tree to put up was out of the question, we have a small tree my daughter uses for her room with Disney ornaments. The solution: Decorating my fireplace and mantle this year. The theme: PEACOCK. Purples, blues, greens, turquoise all those beautiful colors that make my heart happy and make me smile every time I look at them.
Why am I telling you all this you wonder, well you are involved too, that is; if you want to be. I am going to be doing a Peacock christmas ornament series in which you can participate. All the info is below as well as my first ornament I made with all products you can purchase over at Mbtreasurista.com. I have 2 more videos I will be uploading in the series but if you want to win some goodies please watch Part 1 and 2 of my challenge giveaway videos to see all the rules and winnings. I cant' wait to see what you all create, so let's get crafting! This is going to be so much fun, let's all share some inspiration!

Good day crafty friends it's Kelly here with a Thursday project that
is geared towards Thanksgiving table treats & tags. It's a
tradition every year we spend Thanksgiving holiday with my aunt and her
entire family. I am sometimes in charge of table treats and so this
year I thought why not create a super cute treat bag tag that you could
attach to the preformed bag and fill with goodies, candies or little
trinkets to keep the little ones busy while the dinner is being
prepared.
All you need is:
Scoreboard
Bo Bunny The Avenues papers
glue
flower embellishment
You can find these things at the Rubber Buggy website to make these cute rosette tags for the treat bags.

Popcorn Treat Bag Dt project for The Rubber Buggy
Happy Thursday friends! It's Kelly here and I thought today I would
share with you a little treat that I created for my little Halloween
guests who might be arriving soon on my doorstep. This is the "Stache
it for later" Popcorn treat bag. I found the adorable saying on
pinterest, love that site, and then I created the template for the
popcorn look-a-like container you see here.
Materials used:
Prima Hello pastel paper
Prima Hello pastel flowers
How to create this popcorn packet holder.
1. Take 2 pieces of 6x6 paper, use ruler measure bottom at approx. 4 inches to fit popcorn packet. Adhere bottom of each paper together to form a bottom.
2. Adhere ribbon to hold card together in middle then create bow.
3. Oval punch for the center, flower adhered with glue.
4. Draw popcorn pieces and adhere on the inside; one side only. Color if necessary.
5. Create saying on font - computer. "Stache some popcorn for later" I drew the mustache onto the cardstock. Just practice it's not hard to draw. Mat to black cardstock. Use circle punch to clip the corners to make it look like it's a ticket from the ticket booth at the movie theater, and adhere together.
6. Slip microwaveable popcorn packet down inside from the top, if the bottom is adhered together correctly it will hold it in as well as the ribbon on side.
7. Give as gift for trick or treaters!
Here is the finished product:

Cupcake Pin Cushion
Hi everyone and welcome to another Thursday with Kelly. It's a fun
project day and to help me out I used the NEW Bo Bunny collection called
The Avenues that I got from The Rubber Buggy store .
The papers were the perfect color to go with the color scheme I wanted
for this special little cupcake treat. If you haven't yet guessed it's a
CUPCAKE PIN CUSHION!
I had so much fun making this I should've done a tutorial but the products I used were:
Plastic cup cut in half
Styrofoam ball
Beans in the bottom for weight
I then adhered all those above together
Then I used the BO Bunny paper to score with my Martha Stewart scoreboard at every 1/4 inch and make a pleated cupcake liner bottom.
I then adhered all the flowers on top, took me a while but I love how it turned out.
Then I added the bow in front with mulberry rose flower from the Rubber Buggy.
I added the stick pin and the Wonderful word saying from the diecut collection BO Bunny The Avenues again from the Rubber Buggy store. I hope you like it as much as I loved creating it, it's the first one I have ever made and I was very pleased. Hope you had fun learning this new trick or if you've seen it before just coming over to visit The Rubber Buggy store. Have a great day! ~Kelly

Rubber Buggy team here today. I just got the new "The Avenues" paper
from BO Bunny from the store and it's amazing! You will want to run out

color I chose today to use is the peach and brown tones.
The card is inspired by my love for banners and then I added some accents at the side to just give it a touch of fun. The paper again is The Avenues and the top button is from Hello Pastel by Prima, the flower is Prima and the bottom metal brad is from Bo Bunny. You can find the new papers here ==>The Rubber Buggy store as well as the Hello Pastel buttons. Thank you for visiting and I will be seeing you next Thursday! ~Kelly
