Hi Rubber Buggy friends it's Kelly here. Today I worked on a layout
for you to show case the new Magnolia stamps mini houses. It is styled
to contain 3 little beach/cabana style houses and they have a by the sea
feel to them with their woodgrain fronts and little broken steps to the
doors. They are teeny tiny but as you can see I stamped them out on
pattern paper and gave them such a unique and interesting hook on
texture then pop dotted up it really adds a little ooomph to this
layout.
The
paper collection I used was the Bo Bunny Key Lime collection including
paper & diecuts from these as well as the jewels to finish it at the
top...girly style. The flowers I used were from the Divine collection
for the larger 2 flowers, and then the Hello Pastel collection mini gray
stripe flower all from PRIMA. I also added little mini olive mulberry
leaves to these as well posting a very cute adorable accent to a fun
page and a fun trip that I took with my daughter and sister. I really
love how all the elements went together from the yellow doily down to
the chevron trim fish tail banner at the top layer, layer, layer and
it's super cute! You can find all these items over at The Rubber Buggy .
Thank you for visiting ~Kelly

Mbtreasurista summer projects & youtube hop
Youtube hop video above and projects below.
I have a few design team projects to share with you for Mbtreasuristas creative blog post. The theme is Summer. I decided to create this ice cream cone for summer with rosette trim as the ice cream and I used Dear Lizzy papers as my background. I used a chevron pattern for the cone and then adhered the rosettes in a different fashion for each layer.
I then added a Wild Orchid craft open rose at the top, some pearl adhesive strips at the bottom with a few paper strips and then a saying that says you make my heart sing. I love the look of this with all the colors, you know me I love bright colors but it's so yummers to look at but no...I cannot eat it. No, I cannot! LOL!
I also made this layout of my daughter's softball team and I used the new picot trim in chestnut, mulberry roses, twine, and lace from websters pages trim sold at Mbtreasurista. Thanks for coming over to see my creations and hope you have a super duper crafty day! ~Kelly ♥

Save Midway Drive in theatre
HELP VOTE NOW: Vote here to help keep Midway open! :)
As long as I can remember every summer I looked forward to the local drive in theatre opening. When I reached sixteen I couldnt' wait to go to my first all nighter movies. As I got older I enjoyed watching my child grow up and look forward to the movies that were going to be played at the Midway as much as I did as a child. That theatre is now in jeopardy of losing it's business due to the conversion of digital media play. Nothing in this day and age can last I suppose without switching over to digital, it's such a techy age which is amazing when you think of the advanced things technology has done for us, but bad when you realize some of the best old school entertainment activities could be lost without being forced to go right along with that.
So I propose that if you have a heart for the "old school" and you want to help in any way you can, you don't even have to offer a monetary donation it's not necessary if you have two minutes of your time to click on my link below to check out the video and the site where we can vote to save our drive in! Without which I'm not sure where our young and old will be able to congregate in the same venue, supporting our local community financially, and enjoy spending time basking in the night air, some amazing yummy goodies, and grabbing a few hours of great mindful entertainment. Please consider voting and help support Midway Theatre, opened in the 1950's we are blessed to have seen it prosper this long let's keep that going for many generations to come!
~Kelly ♥

Decorative paper strip card Rubber Buggy design team
Hi fellow crafty friends it's Kelly. I am here to share with you
today a card that I made today inspired by a post that featured washi
tape. I loved the idea and layout of the card but I did not have the
washi that I wanted to use so I decided to make a similar card using
strips of Bohemian bazaar paper from The Rubber Buggy.
After I adhered them I cut a small note card from the collection and
popped it up with adhesive then added a twine bow at the top and some
small carnation flowers and a mulberry rose flower from the Rubber Buggy
store. The turquoise colored rose flower is actually a Prima flower
from the Hello Pastel collection also available at The Rubber Buggy. I
hope you like it, a simple card takes about 10 minutes to make and is
very practical for any design of paper you need to accomodate a card
for. Thanks for watching for my blog post and I hope you enjoy the
Rubber Buggy products, if so please head over to the store and catch up
on all the amazing new items including stamps and inks. Have a great
day! ~Kelly Walkelmol

SUPER SUMMER FUN
It's been a great week off of facebook, youtube, blogging and crafting and although I'm excited to get back into it and reconnect with my friends it has been a beautiful 10 days with my family at the beach. So many new things we have experienced and a few of them are elephants, CAESERS, donuts and sharks. We visited Lucy in Margate Atlantic City, New Jersey a a special elephant with an amazing legacy you should check it out its really interesting.
Next we visited Caesers resorts on the Atlantic city boardwalk and did some shopping and gambling. Super fun didnt' lose too much kept our heads under control.
Next we had our very first Fractured Prune which is a franchised bakery that makes specialty donuts, um yes please here are the photos of ours.
Last but not least we got to visit with a little shark friend (during shark week) how ironic, in Ocean City New Jersey. We took a nightime stroll on the beach and there were kids fishing in the surf and sure enough as we were walking up to them they pulled us aside to show us their catch for the evening around 10:30 at night they pulled in a baby shark. Not sure what kind or species but this was the highlight of my week! About 1 1/2 - 2ft long this little baby that I got to touch fulfilled many of my sharkloving bucket list wishes, to one day pet a real life shark in the wild I don't care how big it is. SO without further ado here are my photos....
Thanks for checking out my vacation photos I hope to be back up and crafting in a day or so and have some new projects to share. Happy Summer to all! ♥

Princess Tilda Magnolia stamped card
Good morning crafty friends it's Kelly with a very bright project for
you today. I used an image from The Rubber Buggy called Princess Pea
Tilda from the Magnolia collection. She is super cute and sitting down
so I incorporated a Graphic 45 paper stack in to this mix, the bright
colors are perfect and I cut a little notecard out to make her sit on
and she is just darling. It's a pretty simple card I cut a 6x6 piece of
the G45 Bohemian Bazaar from the Rubber Buggy. I glimmermisted a mask
by Christi Tomlinson called vintage lace and cut it out to make my own
doily background. I then adhered the image over top of the notecard and
then adhered that to the card and added a few little embellishments
along with a saying and trimmed it out with green twine at the top. I
decided I wanted her to pop a little after finishing the card so I
added some stickles to her hair & body. Here she is:
The copic colors I used were:
E02, 21
RV 022, 09, 06
FRV1
B18, 93, 000
Thanks so much for looking & commenting and have a great day! ~Kelly Walkelmol

DT project for Mbtreasurista Altered gift bag
Hi everyone it's Kelly and I created an altered gift bag for my dt project for July for Mbtreasurista.
Do you need a bag for a special occasion or just a special gift for a friend. I had this bag laying around but I wanted to dress it up a bit and so this is what I came up with using goodies from the MBT store. I love altering things with the products from the dt packages because it all seems to go together so very well and create just a beautiful way to share something special with friends or family.
Here are the products I used:
Satin pearl flowers
black crocheted lace
acrylic bell flowers
paste flowers with satin center
wheat sprays
daisy pearl trim
medium mulberry flowers
mulberry daisies in brown
Prima engravers paper collection

Princess Peanelope Saturated Canary card
Hi everyone it's Rubber Buggy Thursday and I have a design team project I want to share with you. I created this card by using a 6x6 purple cardstock background, then added a 5x5 sheet of Websters pages in a beautiful pattern with lovely hot air balloon and matching hues of the same colors I used to color this image of Princess Peanelope from The Saturated Canary collection over at The Rubber Buggy. I used these copics to color her:
E02, 21
RV 06, 42
BV11, 00, 08
YG67, 03
R30
E93
B14
YR18, 02, 04
Y38
I then added some flowers from my stash and these are a variety of different flowers from many different styles & textures. Then I added some Prima bling, an I love you sentiment, a websters pages cabuchon on top of 2 purple leather accent embellishments. I love these colors I don't normally use, but was thrilled to incorporate them and try something new. Thanks for looking and I hope you have a great day! ~Kelly Walkelmol
