Steampunk Christmas Mixed Media Tree

So I took a bit of everything from muslin, burlap, crochet lace, old junk jewelry, metal, flowers, and even some silver christmas tinsel garland and carefully place in on a canvas how I wanted it.  I then painted over the whole thing in Adirondack gold, then I heat embossed it to get the raised edges on it and then I went over it with some Lindys' glimmermist and tattered angels glimmermist and a few other sprays to get the desired look.  I was really pleased with how it turned out.  Inspired by Finnabair.

My handmade Thanksgiving Turkey

Okay so I am a little late, but better late than never right?  So on thanksgiving I had a different kind of turkey in mind and it was full of art and good stuff to eat.  Let's just say chalk another one up to pinterest because everything on there is so inspiring!  Here it is:

These cards were inspired by Jo at Paperdrama here on youtube and a pinterest project I did as an atc media binder cover.  It is The Greeting Farm stamp Anya scarves from Not2shabby shop at zibbet. I stamped them on book paper and colored them with copics, stickled the muff, and added some embellishments from Mbtreasurista

For both of these projects I  used the Stampersbest stamp Crochet doilies background stamp.  The top one I did in black embossed behind the tag base.  The bottom one I did the corner paper layer in white embossing for a monochromatic tone to the white layered look but with some extra texture with this particular stamp.

Craft fair photos....great time with my friendy Jennerator74

I had a great time at the craft fair this weekend.  It was a little disappointing as far as sales go but I cant' really complain for it being my first time, so the lucky part is that I will have lots of stuff to list on ebay, etsy or just plenty of christmas gifts for friends and family!  Thanks so much to everyone who helped out and to all those who were patient enough with me while I was not uploading and posting DT projects as much, I am itching to do some crafting for myself very soon!  Blessings to everyone ~Kelly

For some inspiration, I created......

My project is a handmade card that says "Thanks a bunch".  I hand cut a tree trunk and made leaves from the Glitzy design paper stack.  I then added the thanks a bunch sentiment and feathers below the tree with flowers and a big button and peaking out from behind a fallen leaf.
