Super duper wet & wild camping trip

We headed to Splash Magic Campground again for the 3rd year in a row.   The kids enjoyed swimming, water slides, boating, bumper boats, biking, hiking, arcade, ceramics, row boat (although they got stuck going round and round at least they tried), roasting marshmallows by the fire, mountain pies, and a big bad flood at the end.  All in all it was a good trip with lots of memories to share throughout the years.

Paper Nest Dolls I love art design team project

Hi everyone it's Kelly and I have another design team project for the Paper Nest Dolls.   This digi is called I love art and I wanted to do a very colorful theme to this pieced card as well.  I added a little lip stick to the doll and I love the art behind her and check out all her copics.  Super cute!

Beautiful note card holder with The Rubber Buggy

Hi crafty friends.  I've been thinking a lot about a friend of mine who has shared some struggles lately and I feel so out of touch with her.  For that I decided to send her a little notecard holder & collection.  Although I do not have the inside cards done I have decorated the outside with Hello Pastel from Prima and some flowers to make a beautiful cover for her notecards that I will be sending her.  I am also showcasing this as my Rubber Buggy dt project of the week for Thursday.

It's super fun and easy to make here are the instructions and what you will need:

Materials:
12 x 12 paper
Embellishments
Ribbon

Instructions:
1.  Fold a 12 x 12 piece of paper in half one way from left to right.
2.  Then fold the paper up from the bottom only half way forming a
folder style fold.  Adhere the far left side and only the far right side so that
you can still tuck your notecards down in the center on each side; just like
a school file folder.
3.  Attach ribbon to the back in the middle of the back; halfway down.
4.  Bring and attach the ribbon at the front again halfway down to create a
ribbon enclosure.
5.  Cover the front and embellish...that is all ...simple & your'e done with the front.

After you do all this then you have a folder that you can insert notecards into for a
very nicely crafted handmade gift.

Thanks so much for watching ~Kelly

Paper Nest Dolls mermaid with dolphin

Hi everyone it's Kelly and I have a design team project for the Paper Nest dolls to share with you.  It is the digi mermaid with dolphin.  I decided to do a layout instead of a card and I will put pictures on this as soon as they are developed but I used quite a few different techniques here.  The layout is 12 x 12 and I used mesh burlap, flowers, bling, pearls, metal dots, paper from DCWV, and some Lindy's Stamp gang sprays on the background paper and some splatters on the smaller mat.  I love this layout and the image it's great for any beach themed project.  The mermaid is super fun to color!  I used a this is fabulous title because that's exactly what I think of the beach.

You've got that Joie de Vivre

Hi everyone it's Kelly and I am here just a bit late to share my Thursday project with you.  I have a card share and the papers I used you can find over at The Rubber Buggy.com and they are the Graphic 45 French Country collection.  I used only 2 of each paper but they are double sided and I created this beautiful cascade of rolls and then used some of the carnation flowers from the store to add a beautiful touch of flare.  At the bottom I added 3 small dots of stickles to add a little accent to the bottom where the untouched paper is.  I fussy cut the Joie de Vivre notecard from the collection as well and when I say you've got that Joie de Vivre it means you've got that excitement and joy so let's get crafting!

Thanks so much for looking and have a great day!  ~Kelly

Princess Pea Tilda on bench Rubber Buggy Dt project

Hi everyone it's Kelly here again for project Thursday.  I got the new Tilda Princess Pea stamp and the Vintage swedish bench from TheRubberBuggy and I am so excited to show you what I created.   It's a super simple card which I am pretty familiar with I like easy cards that can go together in  under 30 minutes.  I used a kraft cardstock base for this and then I used the Prima notecards from the meadowlark collection.  I then stamped my Tilda on xpress it cardstock from Rubber Buggy and copic colored her as well then paper pieced her outfit.  I popped up the bench and popped her up on it.  Then I added some Prima pearls in the corners and a beautiful red tinted bow to match her bow in her hair.

Prima doll tag with Hello Pastel by The Rubber Buggy DT

Hi everyone and it's Thursday with Kelly.   I have a fun idea for a project for you.  I created this Prima doll stamp tag for my daughter's friend on her birthday gift.  I decided I wanted to do something a little different .  Instead of using the flesh tone for the body I used the Prima Hello Pastel paper line from The Rubber Buggy.com to make her a cutesie pink color.  I also paper pieced the entire rest of the doll to make it match the entire tag.   I added few trims and flowers and I used a dress form stamp to enhance the girlie in the tag.    No copic coloring on this doll.  It is simply and completely paper pieced. I then glossy accented her body to make it pop a little more than the paper.
